ZONA FRANCA è uno spazio liquido in continua trasformazione dove i protagonisti sono i semi antichi che fluttuano dalle maglie della legalità a quelle della trasgressione come in una dark pool. E’ un progetto transdisciplinare che contempla varie forme di ricerca nell’arte e nell’economia.

Partendo da un servizio diurno take away di ristorazione popolare, che produce pasti basati sul recupero e l’autoproduzione dei semi antichi non inscritti nel catalogo ufficiale europeo, e, sul rispetto di regole etiche e naturali nella produzione agricola, ZONA FRANCA tenta di indurre a riflettere affinché la diversità del patrimonio genetico agricolo non vada persa e dimenticata.

L’arredo di ZONA FRANCA, composto da materiale recuperato e remixato con varie tecniche tra cui il restauro del legno, la tappezzeria, la tintura e la stampa dei tessuti, la decorazione del legno, il decoupage e collage di oggetti e materiali, è interamente in vendita a chiunque ne faccia richiesta.

ZONA FRANCA is a “liquid” space, a place in constant transformation where ancient seeds float through the maze of legality towards transgression, as if in a dark pool. It is a multidisciplinary project that contemplates various forms of research within art and economics.

ZONA FRANCA’s furnishings are made up of recuperated and remixed materials using various techniques such as wood restoration, upholstery, fabric dying and printing, wood decoration, decoupage and collages of objects and materials, all of which are for sale for whomever should wish to purchase them.
